Well, after a couple of fun filled weeks we're heading out and moving north. Forecast is for calm seas over the next five days. Fingers crossed. The weather is so localized here it is hard to tell for sure what we'll get where or when.
We won't be back to La Paz. That seems odd now that we've been here for so long; getting into a rythum with friends and activities. And especially now, within the last week finding an incredible bakery. So many new people who have been so warm. Crit on Jasdip (just another shitty day in paradise), Rhonda on Swan and Lyn and Rich on Fellowship, who we've run into before, and continue to enjoy their company. I'm sure we'll run into many again before our adventure is over.
Over the past couple of weeks we've enjoyed the 'mexican jimmy buffet', Mark Mulligan in concert, shopping and dinner out with friends, daily walks on the malecon, a couple of hikes up skull mountain and ending yesterday with a dock party for a young family of new boaters in a renaming ceremony of their resently purchased boat. A great departure ending for a beautiful place to visit.
Once out of La Paz we will be out of internet and cell coverage, but we'll update our blog via the ham radio.
Buen viento y buena mar
Hope you have a safe venture 'round the bend and as you head north. Keep your posts coming, so I don't worry. You went ALONG time between this and the last. Miss you/Love you xoxoxoxo
