Another star filled night with some clouds and light rain in the morning. Now a sunny and warm noon time(PDT). Its not really noon here yet. A couple of days ago, I compared my sunrise to Hilo sunrise and was about an hour ahead, so closing in on Hawaii time zone.

The battery was pretty low at 4:00am, so had to run the engine for an hour. Sky had cleared and I watched the stars until daybreak. Big Big Milky way, beautiful. Saw one meteorite

Great sunny morning and turned out sunny all day. Turned downwind to run jib and staysail wing on wing, making 4.5 knots at 240 degrees mag.

Some swell came up later in the day and the boat can really get into a roll from side to side. On the worse ones, going 30 degrees side to side!! Hold on to something !!

Enough sun to get some charge back in the house battery.

Raining yesterday morning and then cleared off for a nice sailing day. I'm making a little more northwesterly than a direct course but it gives me a better sailing angle and more speed.

Raining again this morning, light sprinkles, then heavy showers. So much nice fresh water I washed out a pair of pants in scupper drain well. Mostly cloudy with some sun breaks in the afternoon.
