Continued good winds

The winds have continued steadily for the last 3 days. They're in the 12-15 knot range from the north or northeast. The boats been moving along nicely.

Up until today it's been cloudy and gray with some thining of the clouds by the afternoon but usually cloudy again by evening and only a few stars are showing through. My good buddy Gayne let me know that theres an expected meteor shower on 5/23-24, so I'm hoping the clouds will break up completely by nightfall.
With the clouds and wind, much of the daytime wear is a long sleeve shirt and long pants.

Yesterday I had to take down the jib for a while and repair the grommets where the sail hanks are located. Several had corroded through and broken up. I replaced the bad ones and re-sewed the hanks back on. It took about 4 hrss with one beer break in the middle.

Today with more sun shining through makes for much prettier sailing.
The boat driving on to a blue horizon is pretty special.

As I'm writing this, we're at 20 degrees 25' north, 129 degrees 29' west.
